The Cast

Calista Flockhart-  Ally McBeal, the beautiful, talented, strong minded, intelligent, funny, sweet, kind hearted, young attorney, who works for a law firm in Boston.  Her ex-boyfriend Billy also works at the firm along with his wife Georgia.  Ally and Billy share a lot as "friends" should, which makes for some interesting story lines.

Gil Bellows- Billy Thomas, the ex-boyfriend, who also works at the firm.  It's obvious that he still has feelings for Ally, but he is happily married to Georgia. 

Courtney Thorne-Smith- Georgia Thomas, also beautiful and intelligent attorney at the Boston law firm.  She is married to Billy and good friends with Ally.  We wanted to hate her at first, but the writers made it hard for us to do that:)

Lisa Nicole Carson- Renee Radick, Ally's best friend and roommate.   She's good at bringing Ally back to reality.  She works as a deputy district attorney.  Also good at kick boxing?! hehe (Don't make her mad)

Greg Germann- Richard Fish, Ally's boss and senior partner of the firm.   He is known for is "Fishisms".  He is direct and insensitive, but in the nicest way:)  He loves money and "waddles".  Yes, waddles!!:)

Jane Krakowski- Elaine Vassal, Ally's personal secretary and busy body of the firm.  Her head is often seen growing on the show, which is pretty much self explanatory.  She knows everyone's business and has no problem with sharing it with any and everyone.  Do we all work with someone like her?:)

Peter MacNicol- John "The Biscuit" Cage, senior partner of the firm, who has a very unique and humorous way of winning cases.   This "moment" taking, humming, nose whistling, stomach growling, water pouring, troubled individual adds a lot of comedy to the show.

Portia de Rossi - Nelle Porter:   She plays as the a lawyer at the firm.  She started in the second season of "Ally McBeal".  Her most recent film credits include "Scream 2." 

Lucy Liu - Ling Woo: Liu signed on as a regular cast member after appearing in several early episodes in the second season.   Isn't she great?!   I think she is a great addition to the cast!

Vonda Shepard- The music behind the show! Excellent!!  "Songs From Ally McBeal" was released on May 5, 1998 on Sony Records. ** This album is good, but if you haven't got Vonda's "It's Good, Eve", I personally think it  is better.** Listen to "Maryland" (which is also on "Songs From Ally McBeal)  and "Serious Richard".  Two of my favs:)
